Remnant Studios kicks off its first ever Vendor
Showcase Project. With donated vendor products and services
valued over $200,000,
Remnant will produce a short CG film demonstrating the power
and functionality of the latest and greatest CG
techniques. Additionally, a behind-the-scenes short will
be produced
simultaneously to showcase the technologies
behind the project.
The goal of the Vendor Showcase
Project is to produce a completely CG film using little
to no traditional modeling or animation, and
showcase the vendors that make it possible.
Participating vendors will have unlimited access to
advertise their part in the project as well as having
unlimited access to show both the final CG film and the
behind-the-scenes short.
The final CG film may be
entered in the SIGGRAPH Film Festival, and
potentially other competitions as well.
What the vendor will
provide:
- Products or Services
- Any training materials available
- A company logo including any guidelines about its use
- A signed copy of the vendor agreement document [Download

What the vendor will
receive:
- An HD copy of the CG techniques short film (web
delivered) with credit
- An SD copy of the Behind-The-Scenes video (web
delivered) with credit
- Credit and inclusion in our vendors list online
